EP95: The REAL reasons you have PMS cravings

Rising progesterone in the luteal phase can definitely increase your hunger and cause you to experience more cravings before your period. But if you don’t have your diet and lifestyle foundations dialed in, your cravings can be soooo much worse!

If your PMS cravings are out of control, here are some questions to ask yourself:

Are you managing stress well?
Are you sleeping 8+ hours per night?
Are you eating a balance of protein, carbs, fat, and fiber at every meal?
Are you doing too much cardio?
Do you have nutrient deficiencies from the Pill and/or pregnancy?
Do you have hormonal imbalance?
